UPDATE June 9th: The Senate health committee announced that it is delaying its FDA user fee reauthorization markup by a week, pushing the meeting to June 14 as language reportedly continues to be worked out. So please continue to call, and ask others to call and email! The Senate HELP Committee is listening to our voices and there’s reported internal “chaos” surrounding the proposal, which is coming from an outcry by consumers about giving the FDA more power over dietary and herbal supplements.
